March 2010 - Well February was certainly an interesting month in terms of weather. Extreme cold down in Florida, rains and cold in Mexico and California then the Mother of all quakes in Chile, all this has kept this fruit buyer on his toes!
Suggestions for March include the fantastic Bartlett pear, unaffected by weather these golden treats are great NOW! Also suggested are Golden Pineapples, California Navels, and Mandarins all are running great quality and prices are down. Go out and buy Blueberries NOW as prices will be doubling shortly due to the Chilean Earthquake.
For a specialty pick, consider the Maradol Papaya.
